Whats next after opening the hood? How to check for the hood latch? Where is it located? Need to check for the cause why the alarm keeps going

off at odd hours. The car has lojack and a car alarm. Changed the FOB key that didnt worked. Manually opened the door with key. Not happening problem still exist. Need help with what other options.
